Trish Martino, founder of A Virtual Assistant, has enjoyed a diverse career, commencing in 1980 within the Banking industry, entering retail four years later, then returning to Secretarial work after three years.
In 1990 Trish branched out into the Legal arena as Legal Secretary and Personal Assistant to the Senior Partner in a Melbourne city based firm for four years before leaving to start a family and joining her husband to operate the Administration and Bookkeeping side of their successful painting business.
In 2000 Trish undertook numerous Secretarial and Administration assignments, this time including bookkeeping for a number of Government departments as well as the private sector.
In late 2006, Trish launched her own Secretarial, Administration and Bookkeeping business drawing upon her considerable pool of expertise to assist other small business owners.
In early 2008 Trish embarked on a Professional Proofreading and Editing Course with Cengage Education, to date 11 of the 12 assignments have been submitted to the College with 9 being marked with "A" and 2 with "B".
Trish is currently the Secretary to the Rupertswood Sharks, one of the local basketball teams, which has a team base of approximately 160 junior players. |
